Sponsorship

California energy experience, focused on Phase 1.

Mojave Hydrogen Works is sponsored by its founders together with an experienced international project developer and the site's landowner.

Leadership

The sponsor team.

Policy and market access on one side, credit and capital structuring on the other: the two skills a first-of-its-kind project needs to reach financing.

An established California land and water company that owns Cadiz Ranch and provides the land and annual water supply that anchor the project, under an agreement with our development partner.

Why this group

Every hard part of the project has an owner.

Most early hydrogen projects stall on one of four things. Here, each is held by a party whose core business it is.

Markets & policy

Buyers and regulators

Angelina's relationships across California's utilities, agencies, ports and hydrogen users.

Capital & structure

Financeability

Jason's credit and structuring discipline, building the project to lenders' standards from day one.

Development

Permits and engineering

A developer with a track record of taking large renewable and hydrogen projects through permitting.

Site & water

Land and water

A landowner whose core business is the land and water the project depends on.

Governance

Built to institutional standards.

A U.S. corporation that holds the project, governed by a board of directors.

Independence

Independent oversight

We intend to add independent directors with industry expertise as the project moves toward financing.
